Finally got my hands on these in 316 stainless steel, and the partial threading made aligning the bolt in a tight spot so much easier. The hex head grabbed perfectly with my socket wrench, no stripping at all.

Finally found the right length for securing heavy machine guards—the 316 stainless is noticeably tougher than the standard 304 I usually grab. The partially threaded portion makes alignment a lot easier when the hole’s got some play. These are going in the spares box for good.

Had to swap out some old fasteners on a hydraulic press, and these 316 stainless hex heads went in smoothly without any binding on the threads. The partially threaded section gave me just enough grip for the heavy load without worrying about corrosion. Solid buy for the price.
