The barb grabbed the hose perfectly and the aluminum feels solid without being heavy, exactly what I was after for a permanent setup. Tightened the clamp down and there's zero wiggle at the joint, so I'm confident this one's not coming loose.

I needed a longer adapter for a tight hose connection, and the 8-inch length on this one gave me just the extra reach I needed. The hose shank barb was easy to clamp onto without any leaks, so I'm pretty happy.

The aluminum construction feels durable without being too heavy, and the 8" length gives me plenty of leverage when tightening onto hoses. It locked securely with my female coupler on the first try.
