The square neck on these carriage bolts really grabs the wood tight so they don’t spin while you tighten the nut—installed a dozen deck steps this morning and not one slipped.

That rounded head sits flush and looks clean on my bench project, and the zinc plating has held up fine so far. The square neck does exactly what it's supposed to, gripping the wood so I don't need a second wrench to keep them from spinning.

The square neck grabbed the wood instantly and these fully threaded bolts held my deck frame together without a single spin-out. The zinc plating looks clean and the 200-pack means I've got extras for the next project. Exactly what I needed for the price.
