I’ve been using these pins as alignment stops on a drill fixture and they’ve held up perfectly after dozens of cycles. The hardened alloy steel surface feels solid, and every single one of the 50 came out exactly 5 inches with no burrs or variation.

Half a dozen of these went into a jig I'm building and every single one seated perfectly in the drilled holes. The hardened alloy steel surface is smooth with no burrs, which made tapping them in with a mallet a breeze. Exactly the consistency this batch of 50 needed for production.

I needed a precision alignment pin for a metalworking fixture, and these 1/2" alloy steel dowels have the close-tolerance fit I was hoping for—they slide in smoothly without any binding. The hardened surface seems like it'll hold up well under repeated use.
