Had a tricky jig setup that needed precise alignment, and these alloy steel pins slid in perfectly with zero play. The hardened surface took the repeated hammer taps without any mushrooming or burrs. Exactly what I needed for a snug, lasting fit.

I've been using these as alignment pins for a steel fixture I'm building, and the hardened surface is holding up beautifully against repeated hammering. The consistent 5/16" diameter across the whole pack meant every single one seated perfectly first try.

These pins are perfectly straight and the hardened alloy steel makes them feel really solid. They fit snugly into my jig holes without any wobble. A great deal for a hundred pieces.
