I keep a pack of these on the workbench for tightening shaft collars, and the cup point really bites down without slipping once they’re snugged. The hex socket drive made it easy to get them seated in a tight spot, and the black oxide finish looks clean and resists rust so far.

The black oxide finish on these screws looks really nice and seems to resist rust well. I used them to secure a pulley on a small shaft, and they held tight without stripping.

The cup point on these set screws grips the shaft much better than the flat-point ones I've tried before, so my pulleys stay locked in place. Took me a minute to find the right hex key for the #8-36 size, but once I did, they threaded perfectly into the tapped holes.
