I’ve used these plain steel screws for a few indoor shelf repairs, and the 5-inch length gives plenty of bite into thicker wood. The flat head sits flush without any fuss, and they drive cleanly with a standard screwdriver. Exactly what I needed for a straightforward job.

The slotted drive on these 5/16-18 screws grabbed my screwdriver nicely without stripping, and the five-inch length was exactly what I needed for a thick wooden jig. They're solid steel and feel sturdy enough for my garage shelf brackets.
