The cup point bites into the shaft really well—I used these on a conveyor adjustment and they held tight under vibration. Alloy steel feels sturdy enough for repeated use in tight spots.

The hex socket drive made torquing these down in a cramped bracket a breeze, and the cup point really bit into the shaft without slipping. All hundred of them came out of the box clean and threaded smoothly, which is more than I can say for the last batch I ordered elsewhere.

These little 5/16-24s are exactly what my rig needed—the hex socket drive bites deep so I can torque them down properly in spots where a wrench just won't fit. The alloy steel feels solid and the cup point grips the shaft like it should. Nice to have a full 100 pack for the price.
