I needed a set screw that could hold firmly without damaging the surface, and the nylon pellet cup point on these works perfectly for that. The alloy steel feels solid, and the hex socket drives smoothly even in tight spots.

These set screws held the knobs on my milling machine jig perfectly after the original grub screws stripped. The nylon pellet really does lock the adjustment in place without marring the shaft.
