These seals slipped perfectly onto the shaft, and the 70 durometer hardness feels substantial without being a struggle to install. I’ve used them in a hot oil application around 350°F and they’ve held up beautifully so far.

The X-ring profile seats way better than a standard round o-ring in my flange grooves, and the 70 durometer gives just enough squish without tearing. I've had these in continuous 350°F service for a month now with zero leaks, which is more than I can say for the cheap Buna ones I used before.

Installed these in a high-temp pump system where standard Buna-N kept failing within weeks. After a month of service at around 350°F, the Viton material shows no signs of hardening or cracking. The 70 durometer makes them firm but not difficult to seat in the groove.
