The partially threaded design on these 1/2-13 x 7" screws made alignment a breeze when mounting a heavy steel bracket, and the black oxide finish seems tough enough to resist rust in my shop. I’ve torqued them down pretty hard with the hex socket drive and they haven’t stripped at all.
