The partial thread made seating these against a flange much easier, and the 8.8 steel feels solidly machined. Got ten in the pack for a trailer hitch project, and they torqued down without any stripping or wobble.

Used these on a heavy machinery frame assembly and the 8.8 grade steel felt solid under the wrench torque. The partial threads made alignment with the nut much easier than a fully threaded bolt would have.

The threading stops just short of the head, so I had to add a washer to get the clamp-up I needed, but the 8.8 grade steel feels solid and the hex head seated perfectly with a socket. Took a while to find this exact length locally, so the pack of ten was worth it for the price.
