Finally got around to installing these M14 set screws in a jig I built, and the hex socket drive made tightening them in that cramped corner actually painless. They came out of the package clean and the zinc plating looks like it will hold up fine against occasional oil and chips.

The hex socket drive makes these incredibly easy to torque down even in awkward spots, and the cup point really bites into the surface without slipping. I used them to secure a heavy bracket and they’ve held rock-solid through a week of vibration. Packaged well, threads were clean on all fifty.

Used these to lock down a heavy-duty jig on my mill, and the cup point bites perfectly into the shaft. The hex drive made tightening in a cramped area much easier than I expected. Fifty pieces for this price is a solid deal for any shop.
