The square neck seats perfectly into the wood, so I didn't need a second wrench to hold these still while tightening. For a plain steel bolt, the threading is clean and uniform across all 100 pieces.

These are solid bolts, the square neck really bites into the wood and keeps everything from spinning while you tighten the nut down. I used about half the package for a deck repair and every one seated perfectly.
