Threads are clean and the black oxide finish has held up fine on my jig builds so far. The hex socket drove smoothly without any stripping, and the partial thread gave just the right grip for the steel plates I clamped.

Used these to secure a heavy-duty fixture on a milling table, and the 5-inch length gave just enough bite into the subplate. The hex socket drive made alignment easy with a ball-end driver. They’ve held tight under vibration, no signs of loosening yet.
