Finally found a fastener that doesn't strip out under high torque; the Class 10.9 alloy steel feels much more robust than the typical grade 8.8 hardware I've used before. The black oxide finish seems durable so far, and the hex socket drive engages cleanly every time.

The hex socket drive on these makes tightening them in tight spots much easier than using a standard hex key, and the black oxide finish looks great on my jig. They fit perfectly in the M8 threaded holes I have and feel solid.

I needed some black oxide fasteners for a jig I was building, and these 10.9 grade screws are exactly what I was after. The hex socket drive made installation smooth without any cam-out. For 600 pieces at this price, it's a solid buy for anyone doing precision work.
