Used a few of these to lock down a heavy-duty pulley assembly in a jig I'm building, and the hex socket made it easy to get them tight even in a cramped spot. The alloy steel seems sturdy enough to hold up over time.

The knurled cup point grips the shaft firmly without marring the surface, which was my main worry with cheaper set screws. All 100 pieces arrived clean and the threads are consistent across the batch. I’ve already used a dozen to lock down a jig and haven’t had one back out.

The hex socket drive made installing these in tight spots on my press tool a breeze. All 100 screws had clean, consistent knurling on the cup point, which is exactly what I needed for a uniform hold.
