Put these on a heavy press repair, and the yellow zinc held up better to oil and grime than plain steel ones usually do. Threads started clean and the partial threading made alignment under the head easy.

The hex heads on these bolts fit my deep socket perfectly, no rounding at all. Used a dozen so far on a heavy equipment jig and the Grade L9 alloy steel feels rock solid. Exactly the heavy-duty fasteners I needed.

Pulling these out of the box, the yellow zinc finish looks more durable than I expected. The partially threaded shank made alignment much easier when I was bolting down a heavy press.
