Finally, a batch of Grade 8 bolts where the yellow zinc is actually consistent and not chipping off. Used a dozen to mount a motor mount and every head seated perfectly in my socket without any wobble.

These are the cleanest threads I've seen in a long time, no burrs or rough spots at all. The yellow zinc finish looks great and they torqued down perfectly with a socket, so the whole batch went into the jig without a single throwaway. For a hundred US-made bolts at this price, they're a solid buy.

The hex heads on these bolts gripped my socket perfectly without any slipping, and the threads were clean all the way down. I used them to secure a mounting bracket on a heavy press and they torqued up nicely.
