Used these to bolt down a heavy workbench leg that kept wobbling, and the 120mm length gave just enough bite through the timber. The partial threads let the smooth shank fully seat in the metal bracket before the threads engaged the nut.

The partial threading on these M8 screws made aligning them into my equipment frame much easier than fully threaded bolts, and the hex head gripped firmly without slipping under torque. Fast shipping too; I'll be ordering more for future projects.
