The aluminum body feels solid but light enough that it doesn't drag on the hose, and the cam arms snap shut with a satisfying click. Threads on the NPT end sealed up clean on the first wrap of tape, no leaks. Hand-tight is all it needs.

Swapped this onto my 1/2" transfer line and the cam arms lock up tight with no leaks at the threads. The aluminum body is light enough that the hose doesn't droop, and I like that I can break the connection by hand instead of hunting for a wrench.

The aluminum body feels light but the threads on the male NPT end sealed up fine with a bit of tape. Only wish the cam arms had a little more spring tension, but for the price it does the job on my transfer pump setup.
