This 1/2" Type F cam & groove adapter is part of the Ever-Tite Basic 8 (camlock) series, manufactured from aluminum. Male cam adapter end with a male NPT threaded port. Connects by hand with no tools required for fast, leak-resistant transfer of materials at low pressure.

The aluminum body is noticeably lighter than the brass fittings I've used, which is nice for a hose setup I have to move around. Cam arms lock down tight by hand and I didn't need any tools. Threaded end seated cleanly on my pump with a bit of tape.

Swapped out the old threaded fitting on my transfer pump for this camlock adapter and the connection is leak-free at 40 psi. The 1/2" NPT threads mated cleanly with no tape needed, and the cam arms lock down tight. Two in the pack means I have a spare for the other hose setup.
