This 3" Type C cam & groove coupler is part of the Tough-Tite Basic 8 (camlock) series, manufactured from aluminum. Female cam coupler end with a hose shank (barb) for clamping onto hose. Connects by hand with no tools required for fast, leak-resistant transfer of materials at low pressure.

Got this for a high-flow water transfer setup and the 3" barb fit perfectly onto heavy-duty hose. Only minor gripe is the handle feels a bit stiff out of the box, but it seals tight with no leaks.

The aluminum construction feels solid and should hold up well in regular use, and the cam levers lock securely with a satisfying click. The only small gripe is the hose barb could stand to be a bit longer for more grip on thicker walled hose, but it's working fine so far on standard 3-inch hose.
