Grabbed a box of these for a rebuild project and the threading is clean from end to end — no burs or hang-ups when I spun them into tapped holes. The L9 steel feels plenty tough for the torque I put on them with a socket set, though I do wish the yellow zinc was a touch brighter for looks.
