Had a tough time finding 80mm length M5s locally; these fit perfectly in my jig build and the 18/8 stainless seems like it'll hold up way better than the zinc-plated ones I used before.

I’ve been using these M5 socket cap screws for securing jig fixtures on my drill press, and the 80mm length gives me just enough reach for thicker brackets. The hex socket drive engages cleanly, even after torquing them down. They’re a solid upgrade from the standard hardware I was using before.

The 18/8 stainless steel feels solid and corrosion-resistant, and the hex socket drive grips perfectly without stripping. I’ve already used about 40 of them on a precision assembly and not a single one has had a threading issue.
