The square neck grabbed the wood right away and didn’t spin a millimeter while I torqued them down, which saved me a real headache on the deck frame. Six and a half inches was just the reach I needed through the doubled-up beams, and the zinc finish looks clean out of the box.

The zinc plating is holding up nicely on these, no rust spots after a week of outdoor framing. The square neck seating into the wood is satisfying, locks them in place so the wrench does the work instead of the bolt spinning.
