I was impressed how cleanly these seated into the wood—the square neck locked in tight without any spinning. The zinc plating looks uniform and should hold up fine for outdoor use.

The square neck grabbed perfectly into the wood on my deck rebuild, and the zinc coating looks like it’ll hold up well outdoors. Even with all that torque, not a single bolt spun in place during tightening.

Used a few of these to secure a heavy-duty gate hinge, and the square neck dug right in without any spinning. The 10-inch length gave me plenty of bite through both the wood and the post. They feel solid and well-made for the price.
