Finally, a socket cap screw that actually bites and holds—the alloy steel feels rock-solid under torque, and the black oxide finish makes them look as serious as they perform. I used them to rebuild a jig at the shop, and the partial threading let me get a clean grip without stripping the threads.

These hex screws fit perfectly into my jig's tapped holes, and the black oxide finish hasn't shown any wear after a few days of adjustments. The partial threading gave me just the right grip for a tight assembly.

The nylon pellet is exactly what I needed to keep these from backing out on the jig—seated them with a hex key and they haven't budged. The black oxide finish looks clean on the machine, and the partial thread gives plenty of grip for the depth I'm working with.
