I needed a handful of these for a fixture I was building, and the hex socket drive made installation really easy with just an Allen wrench. The threads are clean and engage smoothly without any binding.

The black oxide coating on these screws is holding up nicely in my shop jig, and the hex drive makes them far easier to seat than a standard slotted head.

Used a handful of these 1/2-20 x 3" button heads on a jig I’m building, and the black oxide finish already seems more durable than plain zinc. They thread in smoothly and the hex socket drives cleanly with no stripping so far. Exactly the quality I expected for precision tooling work.
