The hex socket drive made tightening these in tight spots on my jig much easier than using regular bolts. The partial threading gave me just enough grip for the material I was working with.

I’m using these to build a custom jig setup, and the flat head design sits flush perfectly in my counterbored holes. The black oxide coating has held up well so far without any rust spots, even in my damp garage.
