The partial threading on these grabs exactly where I need it to in my fixture plates, and the black oxide finish hasn't shown a hint of wear after a week of heavy clamping. They seat flush without any wobble, which is more than I can say for other socket heads I've tried.

I've been using these for some jig work and the black oxide finish seems pretty durable so far. The hex drive seated nicely with a standard Allen key, no stripping issues. Only ding is the 8" length was a bit longer than I needed for this project but that's on me.
