The hex socket drive made installation into a tight jig much easier than using a standard hex wrench. These 3/4-10 x 3-1/4" screws feel solid in the hand, and the black oxide finish hasn't shown any wear after several uses.

The black oxide finish on these screws is even and consistent, which made them slide smoothly into tapped holes without binding. I used a dozen for a heavy jig fixture and the hex socket held up perfectly under high torque. Exactly what you want for USA-made alloy steel hardware.

I needed some heavy-duty fasteners for a custom tooling setup, and these 3/4-10 x 3-1/4" screws fit perfectly. The hex socket drive gripped the Allen key solidly, and the black oxide coating already looks like it'll resist rust in my shop.
