Had to replace some critical bolts on a heavy jig assembly, and these 16-inch socket cap screws threaded in smoothly all the way. The black oxide finish feels tough and already matches the rest of the industrial gear. Just what I needed for a no-fuss fix.

Threads are clean and the black oxide finish is uniform, so they fit snugly into my fixture plates without any galling. Used a dozen on a tooling setup and the hex socket drive seats the Allen key perfectly every time. Exactly what I needed for a 16-inch reach.

Put these on a heavy-duty press jig I’m building, and the 16-inch length gave me exactly the reach I needed without any wobble. The black oxide finish looked consistent and clean right out of the box.
