The partially threaded design made installation in my jig setup much easier than fully threaded bolts would have been. These M8s have held up perfectly under heavy clamping pressure with no sign of stripping or bending.

Installed these on a jig frame last weekend and the flat head seated perfectly flush without any binding. The black oxide finish held up well against minor oil exposure during use.

Had to swap out some standard bolts on a tooling fixture, and the flat head profile on these fit perfectly flush. The partial threading made alignment easier than I expected, though the black oxide coating could be a bit more consistent.
