Finally got these for mounting some steel brackets on a workbench, and the hex heads grab perfectly with a socket wrench. The 10.9 grade feels noticeably tougher than standard hardware.

The partially threaded design makes seating these into a tapped hole much easier than fully threaded bolts. The hex heads grabbed cleanly with a socket wrench, no stripped edges after torquing down a bracket. Solid 10.9 steel for the price, definitely my new go-to for machine assembly.

I used these to secure a motor mount on my lathe, and the Class 10.9 steel handled the high torque without any sign of stretching. The hex head gave a solid grip with my socket, making installation straightforward. For the price, the value is tough to beat.
