I needed some heavy-duty bolts for a press frame repair, and the hex head let me get full torque with my impact wrench without stripping. The zinc coating seems thick enough to resist rust in my damp workshop, which is a definite plus.

The partially threaded shank made installation on my milling machine’s clamp set much easier since the unthreaded section aligns perfectly through the work piece. These bolts feel substantial and the zinc coating seems even and thick.

I needed these for a custom jig build, and the partial threading on the 250mm length gave me exactly the grip depth I needed. The hex head seated nicely with a standard socket, no rounding issues at all.
