Grabbed a pack for a custom machinery mount I’m building, and the 10.9 grade steel feels incredibly solid under full torque. The zinc plating held up fine during a quick test in a damp shop environment.

The partial threading actually makes a difference—lets you get a solid clamp without the threads binding in the nut. These 10.9 grade bolts feel tougher than the standard hardware store stuff, and the zinc coating hasn't shown any rust after a few weeks in a damp workshop.

Finally a hex bolt with a fully formed thread right up to the head, no annoying gap. The 10.9 grade feels seriously tough, and the zinc coating looks like it'll hold up well in my shop.
