Threads are clean and the black oxide finish has held up well under repeated torque in my jig setup. Fully threaded length gave me just enough room to dial in my clamping stack.

The black oxide finish looks sharp and the threads are clean, no burrs. These seat perfectly in my jig setup and the 12.9 grade gives me confidence they won’t fatigue under heavy clamping loads.

I was worried about stripping the hex socket with the torque these see, but the 12.9 alloy steel hasn't shown any wear after a tough job. The black oxide finish makes them easy to spot on a cluttered bench.
