Used these on a custom jig for the shop and the partial threads bit into the steel housing perfectly while leaving plenty of grip for the clamp plate. The 12.9 alloy feels rock solid, no stripping even after torquing them down hard. Exactly what I needed for precision work.

The black oxide finish on these looks even better in person, and the partial threading gave me just the right grip for a tooling fixture I’m putting together. They drove in cleanly with a hex key, no stripped heads, and the 12.9 hardness feels solid for the money.

Put these on my milling machine jig and they held perfectly with zero stretch. The black oxide finish looks clean and resisted light debris during setup.
