Machined a set of jig plates this weekend and these M27s threaded in with almost zero resistance, the black oxide finish left no residue on the threads. For 12.9 alloy steel at this length, I’m genuinely impressed by how true they run.

The 12.9 grade steel feels rock solid, and the hex socket drive seated perfectly with my torque wrench without any slipping. I used them to hold down a heavy jig plate and they've taken the vibration like champs.

Installed these on a heavy-duty jig I'm building and the hex socket drive made torquing them down effortless. The black oxide finish also looks like it will hold up well in my shop.
