The black oxide finish is a nice touch—it gives them a uniform look and should resist surface rust during storage. Threads cut cleanly into the tapped holes on my precision assembly, and the 12.9 hardness gives me confidence torquing them up properly.

Used these in a jig I was building at work and the 12.9 grade held torque perfectly without any sign of stripping. The partially threaded portion made alignment easier than fully threaded bolts would have.
