The zinc plating gives these a nice, consistent finish, and the hex socket engages without any wobble. The partial thread made alignment in my fixture much easier than a fully threaded bolt would have.

Needed these for a heavy tooling fixture at work, and the zinc plating held up nicely during assembly without any galling. The hex socket drive seated perfectly with my Allen key, and the partial thread gave just the right grip depth.
