The zinc plating on these M16-2s is flawless—uniform, with no rough edges that would gall the threads on a fixture. Installed them in a jig this morning and the hex socket drove true without any wobble.

Third set of M16-2s I've ordered for my fixture builds, and the 12.9 alloy steel holds up even under repeated torquing. The zinc plating has a nice even finish, no flaking at the hex corners, and the partial threads let me snug them into blind holes without binding.

The hex socket drive sat perfectly flush on my milling fixture, and the Class 12.9 alloy steel handled the clamping force without any deformation. These are the first M16s I've used where every single screw threaded smoothly right out of the bag.
