Installed these on a heavy-duty press jig, and the Class 8.8 steel handled the torque perfectly without any stripping. The partial threading gave just the right grip length for our assembly.

Finally found some M24-3 x 170mm hex head cap screws that actually measure up to spec; the partially threaded shaft worked perfectly for bolting down heavy equipment. The hex head grabbed cleanly with a standard socket, no stripping or slipping during installation.

The hex head on these cap screws grabbed my socket perfectly without any slipping during installation. The partial threading made them ideal for securing a heavy machine base where I needed full grip at the end. Got five in the pack which was exactly what the job required.
