The threads are cut clean and the 8.8 steel feels properly hardened, so the hex head didn't strip when I torqued it down on the jig. Partial threading helps with the alignment I needed, and for a single piece this size, the price is fair.

I needed a heavy-duty fastener for a press rebuild and the 8.8 steel on these is definitely up to the task, the threads cut cleanly into the tapped hole. The hex head gave my socket wrench a solid bite without slipping.

These bolts are beasts at 300mm long and the 8.8 rating gives me real confidence they won't shear under heavy load. The partial threading made alignment on our press frame a lot less fussy than I expected. They turned smoothly with a standard socket, no binding at all.
