I needed a heavy-duty fastener for a machine baseplate, and these grade BD alloy steel cap screws fit perfectly into the hex socket. The partially threaded design made installation straightforward, and they feel solid.

The hex head on these cap screws gripped perfectly with my socket, no stripping at all. I used a few for reassembling a press and the partial threading made alignment much easier. Solid fasteners for heavy shop work.
