The cadmium finish on these hex nuts seems to resist corrosion better than the plain steel ones I usually grab. Threads cut clean and they tightened down evenly on the enclosure panels without any stripping.

For a few bucks, these little nuts are surprisingly well-made — the cadmium coating is smooth and uniform across all 100 pieces. I used them to secure some sheet metal brackets and the hex shape grabbed my wrench perfectly without rounding off. Solid value for small hardware jobs.
