Had to knock them into a fixture base for an alignment job, and the chamfered ends made seating them straight on the first try. They’re properly ground and hardened—no burrs, and the press fit was snug without any galling.

Used these to align two jig plates and every single one pressed in without a hint of wobble. The ground finish is visibly smoother than hardware store dowels, and the hardened surface hasn’t marred or mushroomed after a week of repeated use.
