I needed a tight fit for a jig I was building, and the chamfered end on these pins made insertion a lot smoother than regular straight dowels. They seated perfectly with a light press, no hammering required.

The whole box arrived with every pin uniformly ground—no burrs or rough spots anywhere, which made seating them in the jig a breeze. Pressed a dozen into fixture plates and each one gave that satisfying, solid resistance you want for a precise fit.

The chamfered end made sliding these into tight holes much easier than standard straight pins. Ground finish held alignment perfectly on my fixture setup.
