The black oxide finish on these #2-56 screws holds up well, even after repeated tightening in my jig fixtures. They fit perfectly in the hex socket and the 3/8" length is ideal for mounting small components.

The thermal black oxide finish held up fine during assembly, and the hex socket drive seated cleanly on my driver every time. I’d have liked the threads to feel a touch smoother on the first few screws, but for the price per pack these are solid for tooling work.

I used these for a small jig I was building, and the hex socket drive made tightening them in tight spots much easier. The 100-count package is great value for the price. Only wish the threads were a bit cleaner, but they worked fine overall.
